Happy 2008! The years are flying by! I began on the 23rd of January doing prep work for the border that will go around the quilt. The border will consist of larger squares (approximately 3" x 4") than the quilt is made of, with pictures inserted every 2 or 3 squares.
March/April/May 2008
It's official! We're having a girl! My new granddaughter is due to arrive in August 08. I'm still slowly progressing on embroidering the inscription to my children on the top left side of the quilt. I must pin on the words and embroider over the paper then remove the paper, and this takes longer than usual.
