Summer is truly upon us and the heat has been turned up. During June I had the honor of having a pair of Wrens take up residence in my watermelon bird house hanging over the patio and the pleasure of listening to a nest full of babies being raised by the mamma and daddy. They left the nest on the 1st day of summer (06/21) and it is now sadly quiet .
I took the last three weeks of June off from working on my quilt and am now continuing to work along on my quilt but not at the pace from this past winter. I am currently at row 106 (14,840 squares). It is getting harder and harder to get a picture of the quilt so I will have to hang it outside from now on to get a full picture.
